One of the main qualities of a Champion is that they leave their mistakes in the past. They allow yesterday to die. They know the mistakes they have made are over. By doing this they take this opportunity to move forward and take ground, making sure they do not lose any. Champions don’t go backwards, they keep their attitudes positive. They do the right thing even when it’s hard……

In the same way God demands the same of us, he demands genuine repentance, (from the Greek, metanoia_, isused of true repentance, a change of mind and purpose and life), that is to turn away from our past. No matter what you have done, or what has happened to you in your past, God hasn’t only forgiven you, He has also washed away those past sins or hurts and more so He forgets about our sin forever, that is Gods promise to us. So don’t let your beliefs limit God.

If God can forget about your sin, you should forget about it. Stop beating yourself up over it. You cannot change your past, but you sure can change the way you feel about it.  It’s Your choice!!!! Do whatever you need to do to make things right and move on.

Once this has been done, it is your time to get your hopes up. It your time to believe that there are better days ahead. Start moving towards the purpose and promises God has set out for you. Step out in faith, pour your energy into your future, it is what champions do….
