An old phrase that pops up every so often in my life is K.I.S.S. A phrase that is often forgotten about as we go about our daily lives, in all areas. How often do we try to complicate things, how often have we heard “It cant be that simple? Can it?”

Well it can. Look at the gospels, it is the simplicity in the words that Jesus spoke that puzzle, confuse us. They are so plain and simple, we dissect them, make them complicated, confuse each other about them, write books on them and then write books about the books etc……

Take time to read the words that Jesus spoke and this time Keep it Simple……!!

Matthew 6:25 That’s why I’m telling you to stop worrying about your life-what you will eat or what you will drink-or about your body-what you will wear. Life is more than food, isn’t it, and the body more than clothing?

Matthew 6:26 Look at the birds in the sky. They don’t plant or harvest or gather food into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. You are more valuable than they are, aren’t you?

Matthew 6:30 Now if that is the way God clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and thrown into an oven tomorrow, won’t he clothe you much better-you who have little faith?

 

Jesus put it very simply. He said obey the Father and obey His Spirit in you & guess what….. God will look after you. It is because we are not submitting to the life God has given us that leads us to confuse these simple words that Jesus spoke..

 

From here on I urge you when reading the word of God……. Keep it Simple
