A new car, a new house, a new job, new clothes, a new day, a new friendship, a new baby… all of these suggest a fresh start. Newness is a beginning or perhaps beginning again, something that never was before, or was before but now different. It is a turn in the road, starting over, and opportunity to move away from the ordinary.

Or some , newness is threatening, forcing them away from the comfortable, the tried and true. For others it is exciting, a challenge to move into virgin territory , the exhilaration of an encounter with the unknown. Life is a series of new beginnings, how we choose to enter them makes all the difference.
