Feeling Dejected?

Ever wake up feeling incompetent?, feeling dejected ? With thoughts of doubt in complete control of your thinking? Thoughts such as: I can’t do it all. I don’t have enough time. I don’t have enough energy. I don’t have what it takes to do all God’s called me to do?
Well let me tell you this, if your thoughts are against you, your feelings are too!! But we do have a choice. We can choose out thoughts? Start by setting your thinking to how God thinks about you. What are His thoughts for me today? When you get that feeling, stop and isolate that thought, “the I cant do it” one and compare it to God’s thought towards you. Are they in line? If not look for a promise in the bible to replace the lie that his filled your thoughts with negativity.

To help you on your way I have listed a few examples of what Champions do when they have negative thoughts:

 1. When uncertainty comes against them, saying I’m not good enough – they will focus on the truth that God is for me! He says I’m fearfully and wonderfully made; all of His works are wonderful and I am one of them (Ps. 139:14).

 2. When hesitation comes against them, saying I shouldn’t get my hopes up because I’ll only be disappointed -they remember God is for me! He has plans for my life that are filled with purpose and hope (Jer. 29:11).

 3. When misgiving comes against them, saying nobody loves me – they cling to the truth that God is for them! He loves me so much that He gave His only Son to live and die for me, and He chose me to be adopted into His family. ( John 3:16, Eph. 1:4–5).

 4. When doubt comes against them, saying I can’t do something because it’s too hard – they remember God is for them! I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Phil. 4:13)
