Don’t be afraid that speaking the truth will alienate your family from you. Be afraid that failing to speak the truth will keep them alienated from God. Better they curse you now for telling them the truth they don’t want to hear than curse you in hell for not telling them the truth they needed to hear. Jesus did not come to bring peace, but a sword. Loving another does not mean affirming them while they are on an evil way. Even if it means they will never talk to you again – TELL THEM THE TRUTH!

“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.” (Matthew 10:34-37)
