The Bad Boy Turned Good 8 Step Survival Plan

Follow God – there is nothing you can do that is bad enough to make God hate you. His love does not depend on your actions

Keep short tabs with God – Communicate with God every day, read the bible, tell Him the things you have done wrong, try to get to know Him better through prayer

Get back up when you fall down – if you really mess up, tell Him and ask God to help you start living right again

Group up – don’t try to go it alone, get together with others and talk to them as much as you can. Find a mentor. Help each other

Think outside of yourself – use this time to pray for others, pray for your family & friends and even pray for your enemies

Think Forward: don’t let negative feelings drag you down and make you think you cannot do what God has called you to do. Look for the light at the end of the tunnel

Witness with your actions first & not your mouth – make sure the things you do are as good as the things you say

Think Positive – “as a man thinks in his heart, so he is” = you are what you think. It takes no more energy to think positive than it does negative.
