Satan does not reside in Hell!

I just watched a clip from the Grammys. The one with Sam Smith & Kim Petras performing “Unholy” was a Grammy-winning song. If you haven’t seen it, check it out. Sam Smith, a biological male, now identifies as “non-binary” and uses “they/them” pronouns. I never liked English at school, but please feel to correct me, aren’t “they/them” pronouns plural? (more than one). One time we meet an individual identifying with what could be considered “plural pronouns” in the Bible is the possessed man in Gerasenes (see Mark 5). Jesus asks this demon-possessed man what his name is, and he responds with Legion, for we are many!

1 Peter 5:8 says us to “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”

Satan is prowling around and devouring those willing to be taken up to the top of the mountain, those bowing down and worshipping him. How many in Hollywood, the music industry etc., publicly state on television that “they have sold their souls”? Why are these so-called “cultured elites” in our day and age happy to put on a show of worshipping Satan? Well, it’s simple they don’t believe he is real, and they don’t think God is real.

 As a Bible-believing Christian, I know that Satan is real, hates God, and devours everyone in this world who has turned their back on God. What we are witnessing among the elites in Hollywood, the music industry, our schools etc., is devouring. They are mocking God, and we know God will not be mocked.

We, as Christians, need to pray for those involved in this wickedness. We do not battle flesh and blood but the spiritual forces of darkness, which was clearly on display in this performance. We need to get on our knees and pray for the salvation of these people, everyone involved in the performance and the many others who boastfully claim “they have sold their souls to the devil”. God works wonders beyond our limited imagination. With God, all things are possible, and those worshipping Satan last Sunday could very well be praising Christ next week. The Grammys have shown how much the world has fallen. C.S. Lewis wrote in The Screwtape Letters,

Satan is subtly deceiving when he confuses people by mixing a little lie with the truth, just like that first time he asks in the garden, “did God really say that?”

Awaken Christians and pray, pray, pray. Pray for a time when God, not the devil, is worshipped……

Calll upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Jesus is coming.
